October 26, 2003 It’s Fall backward Sunday --- one pleasurable extra-sleepy morning followed by 5 months of miserable premature darkness. If I’m elected president, I will stand up to big Standard Time and take back the daylight for average Americans, so Irma Campo, a 75 year old working mother of 11 from Hanover, New Hampshire will not have turn her lights on every time she leaves work at 4 PM! I have a comprehensive plan, I’ve written it down. Yeah, I’ve lived in DC for too long. So, what’s new – just got back from another fun and exciting time at NACA – strong start for the new agency, Raving Prawn Productions. Met a lot of cool people, students, musicians, former Full House cast members, even bumped into Manute Bol on the streets of Baltimore. And, I thought I was tall! (umm, not really, but 7 ft 7 is something else!) Planning for the Spring is now fully underway. Very much looking forward to my upcoming college tour out to PA and Ohio – quick 4-day jaunt, but that feels just right, my hockey team misses me if I stay away too long, even if they’d never admit it. In between college shows, gearing up to get back into the studio, Going to record Denial, Center City, Two Steps Out, then see how things stand. Can’t wait! Regular visitors to this site can count on being the first to hear the new tunes – speaking of, got some new live tracks on the site, so check ‘em out! Been kind of quiet on the local front lately, but that won’t be the case for too much longer – worry not, my DC peeps, the Sherpas and I will be back performing real soon. Thanks for stopping by, come again, click around, sign the guestbook, read the blog, all that good stuff. Best wishes until next update! JL&SU |
