Greetings and fond words of welcome to you all. You’ve found it, the official home of Jake Laufer, Sherpa Underground and related properties.

The quiet part of the summer is now officially over, now we’re into the heavy stuff … band shows, solo shows, college shows and work on the score of “Negative,” the new short from Toronto (SARS-free in late ’03) filmmaker Jeff Strebinger. Check it out at the Los Angeles Short Film Festival in the Fall.

Been trying to update the blog on a fairly regular basis, so if you want to see what I was thinking on a few select days, feel free to check it out.

Besides that, I’m slowly releasing live tracks from some acoustic shows earlier this summer, stay tuned for an update or check out my Washingtonpost mp3 site.
