June 10, 2003 We’re right in the middle of a nice, busy stretch. Had a great time performing for the second straight year at the Celebrate Fairfax Festival, one of the most wonderfully run events I’ve ever been a part of. Got to rock out with the band on Friday night and on Saturday, played an acoustic set so hot that it closed the festival down! Well, that and the rain, and the wind. Three words, rubber soled shoes, helps get you through those dodgy electrocution-y moments. This month, I’m taking the solo show on the road, back to the illustrious Bitter End in New York, or as sports fans now know it, the town living in the shadow of the Meadowlands. Also, quite a few local shows, a performance at a wedding in Michigan, all kinds of good stuff. A couple of my recent and upcoming shows have been/ are being recorded, so hope to have some new tracks posted online soon, maybe even some of the new tunes? Then, it’s off to the studio. Any lucky lottery number suggestion would be most appreciated, or you can just send cash, whichever works. New, life-changing albums cost money people, how much longer must the world suffer w/out Viking II? Ok, gotta go and download some copyrighted music. (just kidding, Madonna, don’t hurt me) C ya l8r, jâk
