Hiya! Hope you’re having a lovely spring (or fall, for all of you south of the equator-ites).

April has been pretty interesting … war, SARS, an aborted trip to Toronto related to same, NHL/NBA playoffs, warm sunny days, cold rainy nights, cherry blossoms, shows in Maryland, Virginia, and the District o’ Columbia, and the adoption of a new favorite movie, “A Mighty Wind.”

Looking forward, there’s a bit of a historical bent to my and the band’s upcoming shows. We’ll be playing in Manassas (Battle of Bull Run) at Miller’s in Charlottesville (regular haunt of Dave Matthews back in his C-ville days), historic old town Fairfax, as well some further out-of-town shows at the world famous Rivoli club in Toronto and Bitter End in New York.

What else, this site is now hosted on a new server, which will have no effect on your jakelaufer.com experience, but is a bit cooler for me and the webmaestro, working on a nice bunch of college dates for the fall, and looking forward to debuting some new songs at the next few shows.
